RULES & REGULATIONS  FOR STUDENTS & TEACHERS

  1. This competition is open to middle school-aged students (6th-8th grades) living in Bingham County. Public, Charter, Private, and Home school students are welcome to participate, but will need to submit entries through a public school.. 
  2. Students should verify and submit entries through a participating School. Teachers may use their discretion in the acceptance of artwork to be entered into the show.  One entry per student, please. Art will be returned to the school where it was submitted.
  3.  Any medium is acceptable except sculpture, photography or digital art. All art must be the creation of a single student. Entries are due Monday, March 16th, 2026
  4. ALL WORK SUBMITTED FOR JUDGING MUST BE READY FOR DISPLAY. (mounted on a 9 X 12 or 11 x 14  cardstock backer (or matted with a 9×12 or 11 x 14 black mat) with an entry/disclaimer form filled out and signed, and attached to the back.)  Art will be hung with sticky tack in a location with limited space, so is not possible to accommodate framed art at this show. 
  1. This exhibit is child friendly. Please self-screen your art, avoiding political statements, nudity, violence, etc. The Show Chair may restrict art for display.

Student Entry Form and Disclaimer:

Each entry must include a Student Entry Form/ Disclaimer attached securely to the back of their artwork. The form will be available from the school, or from the Bingham Arts Council website at www.binghamarts.org. Forms should be completely filled out with updated contact information for the purpose of creating certificates, contacts for awards, and to aid in returning artwork. The form requires a description of the artwork, which should clearly identify the major elements of the work. Should the form be detached from the artwork it should be easily identified due to the description on the form.
